To register for SSPR you must use your company issued computer.
1. Visit the Microsoft Portal to Register: https://portal.office.com
OR
From your computer: Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and select “Change a password”.
2. When prompted with “More information required”, hit Next
3. You may be prompted to enter your email password, if asked to “Stay signed in?” click Yes.
4. You’ll be prompted to setup for two authentication methods out of three. The options are
Authenticator app, Security Questions, and Phone (phone call or text code).
1. Follow the onscreen instructions if using the Authenticator App
2. During setup you can click “I want to set up a different method” to see other authentication
options. Click the dropdown to choose a different method.
1. Phone - Choose to receive a code by text or phone call by entering your phone number,
follow the onscreen instructions to register for this method
2. Security questions – This method requires five questions to be registered, if you reset your password using this method, you’ll be asked to answer three questions. Select from a list of random questions on each dropdown and enter your answers, when complete hit Done.
5. After choosing you authentication methods, hit Done or Next to complete.
